Måling av eksosutslipp ombord på Clipper Harald 2018, med og uten EGR

SUMMARY

During the period March 10th-15th 2018, accredited measurements of emissions from main engine omboard Clipper Harald. The purpose of the measurements was to map the emissions of NOx from the ship's main engine with and without EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system operating. The results indicate 72% of reduction in NOx emissions with the EGR system in operation mode.  

SAMMENDRAG

I perioden 10-12 mars i 2018 ble det gjennomført akkrediterte målinger av avgassutslipp fra hovedmotor ombord på Clipper Harald. Hensikten med målingene var å kartlegge NOx utslipp på skipets hovedmotor med og uten EGR system i drift. Det ble målt 72 % reduksjon av NOx utslipp med EGR systemet i drift. I tillegg ble det målt sot og SO2.
